Man In Custody Following Armed Robbery Complaint
The Fredericton Police Force has one male in custody following an armed robbery complaint received at 2:09 am, August 19th, 2009. After allegedly robbing the Saint Mary’s Smoke Shop on Cliff St., a 34 year old male from Fredericton was arrested within minutes after he fled from the area.
While Police are not releasing any specific details of the incident during the preliminary stage of the investigation, it is expected that the male will be making a court appearance sometime throughout the day (Wednesday) to face robbery related charges. Police report that no one was injured during this alleged incident.
