5 Arrested in Relation to a Rash of Theft From Vehicles

Fredericton Police Force requests the public's help in identifying stolen property.

As a result of an early morning vehicle stop 2 adults and 3 youths were arrested and will be appearing in court to answer to such charges of Theft, Possession of Stolen Property, Breach of a Judge’s Undertaking and Breach of a Police Officer’s Undertaking.

Fredericton Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a quantity of stolen property believed to have been taken within the last 24 hours from vehicles in the Fredericton area.

Anyone missing items from their vehicles or who has observed any crimes, suspicious activity or has any information should contact the Fredericton Police Force at 460-2300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

Police are reminding the public that thefts from motor vehicles are usually crimes of opportunity. Do not provide a thief with an opportunity by leaving your valuables in plain sight.
